Capsule Filling Line

Capsule Filling Line

A Capsule Filling Line (also known as a capsule production line or encapsulation line) is an integrated system of machines used primarily in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and supplement manufacturing. It automates the process of filling empty hard gelatin or HPMC (vegetarian) capsules with powders, granules, pellets, tablets, liquids, or combinations thereof. The line ensures high precision, efficiency, compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards, and minimal human intervention to reduce contamination.

These lines range from semi-automatic (for small to medium production) to fully automatic (for high-volume output, up to 150,000+ capsules per hour). They are essential for producing consistent, accurately dosed capsules while maintaining hygiene and quality control.

Our range consist majorly below mentioned two Capsule Filling Lines

  1. Semi Automatic Capsule Filling Line

  2. Fully Automatic Capsule Filling  Line

Semi-Automatic Capsule Filling Line

Capsule filling, transporting, polishing and sorting equipment are all part of a semi-automated capsule production line. Every piece of equipment functions as a single, cohesive unit. The specifics of every machine in the capsule filling process are listed below:

Semi Automatic Capsule Filling Machine

A semi-automated capsule filling machine that can fill between 25,000 and 40,000 capsules per hour. This machine is cGMP compliant, has many features, and is made of premium stainless steel. You can use this equipment to fill capsules with powder, pellets, or granules. This is the machine to choose if you’re searching for one with outstanding filling accuracy and automation.

Capsule Polishing Machine

comprising a revolving, variable-speed spiral nylon brush stainless steel powder collector and a stainless steel chamber fitted with filter cloth. From one end to the other, the capsules move. They roll between the filter cloth and the nylon bristles throughout this journey. In this course, the dust extractor removes and sucks the powder from the capsules and their edges. The capsules that emerge from the chute are immaculately clean, polished, and glossy.

Capsule Inspection Machine

This machine has a conveyor belt. A lighting source is located above this machine so that the capsule can be examined closely. The capsules exit the vibrator and travel on the conveyor belt, rotating around their axis as a result of angle guides. To identify faulty capsules, an operator can perform this comprehensive visual assessment.

Dust Collector

In addition to cleaning semi-automatic or automatic capsule filling machines, the dust collector is utilised to remove loose powder from the polishing chamber.

Diametrically Rejected Capsule Sorter

The diametrically rejected capsule sorter operates based on the ovality and gravity load of the capsule. Following polishing, the filled capsules are dropped into a revolving drum with sorter plates to separate the precisely diametrical capsules.

It is specifically used to sort filled capsules that have significant defects.

Capsule Conveying System

Using a dry vacuum and vibrator, the capsule convening system moves full capsules from the capsule filling machine to the capsule polishing machine.

Empty Capsule Ejector

The empty capsule ejector operates using the airflow force principle. When airflow force is provided to the capsules, filled capsules will fall straight towards the down level and empty capsules will eject out the side. This is specifically done to separate filled and empty capsules.

Automatic Capsule Filling Line

Automatic capsule filling lines are widely used for high-speed, large-scale production needs. This high-production capsule filling line features integrated machinery for filling, polishing, metal detection, sorting, ejecting empty capsules and collecting them into a receiving chute. For continuous production needs, every piece of equipment is set up to match each other’s speeds. The details of each machine in this kind of capsule filling line are listed below:

Automatic Capsule Filling Machine

Up to 1,50,000 capsules can be filled by the automatic capsule filler in an hour. For those who want to reliably automate the entire capsule production process, this self-sufficient, completely automated machine is an ideal option. This machine is all you need to fill capsules of different sizes, ranging from 00 to 5, using powder, pellets, or gelatin.
