How Does It Work?

1. Feeding: Empty containers are fed onto a conveyor or turntable and indexed to the filling station.

2. Sensing and Filling: A sensor detects the container, triggering a magnetic clutch or servo motor to rotate the auger at a controlled speed and duration. The auger draws powder from the hopper and deposits it directly into the container.

3. Dispensing: Once filled, the container moves to the next station. Dust extraction systems minimize mess.

4. Adjustments: No-tool changeovers for different container sizes via pneumatic separators; auger size and rotation time are calibrated for product density.

This process ensures dust-free, repeatable fills without over- or under-dosing.

Working Principle of Auger Powder Filling Machine

The incoming dry bottle is fed through the Infeed Turn Table with suitably guided on the moving conveyor belt at the required speed for feeding. There is filling head mounted on machine top plate, when bottle reaches to the first filling station, it will be held by the bottle holder. Immediately it will be sensed by the bottle sensor as soon as it gets signals from sensor magnetic clutch starts to rotate which is mounted on auger shaft. It will fill the desired amount of powder to the bottle through auger, where rotation time is previously saved in PLC control. After filling bottle moves further for next operation. The main advantage of this machine is star wheel pick up system of bottle is directly connected with Auger rotation, so till bottle get filled with powder as per set value.
