Single Head Vial Filler is a specialized piece of equipment primarily used in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries for the precise filling of small glass or plastic vials with liquids, powders, or suspensions. It is designed as a compact, often semi-automatic or automatic monoblock system that handles filling, stoppering, and sometimes capping in a single unit, ensuring sterility and accuracy for injectable or sterile products like vaccines, antibiotics, and oncology drugs. The “single head” refers to the machine having one filling nozzle or station, making it ideal for low-to-medium production volumes (typically 10–50 vials per minute), pilot-scale operations, or R&D settings where flexibility and minimal investment are prioritized over high-speed output.

Our Vial Filling Machines comprise of a stainless steel slat conveyor and vials are transferred using this conveyor. Once the vials reach the filling station from the conveyor, the next phase of operation begins. Filling station is equipped with a number of heads for quicker operations. Here precise filling of vials takes place and they are now moved for the stoppering process. This is a very crucial part of the entire process as this ensures the vials remain immaculate and the product inside the vials also remains preserved. Pharmaceutical products must always remain free of external contaminants and other factors. The medicinal value may get compromised otherwise and hence Vial Filling and Capping Machines are indispensable to the pharmaceutical industry.

A Single Head Vial Filler is a compact, cGMP-compliant monoblock machine designed for precise aseptic filling of sterile liquids (and in some cases powders or suspensions) into small glass or plastic vials. It performs filling, rubber stoppering, and optional capping on a single platform, making it ideal for low-to-medium volume production, pilot batches, R&D labs, and clinical trials.
Also known as a small vial filling machine or VFCS 20 model, it is widely used in the pharmaceutical, biotech, veterinary, and healthcare industries for injectable products like vaccines, antibiotics, and oncology drugs. It ensures high accuracy, sterility, and minimal contamination risk while operating under laminar airflow.
The Single Head Vial Filler (Model: VFCS 20) has a production output of up to 20 vials per minute.
It is suitable for a wide range of vials from 2ml to 100ml (with compatibility up to 250ml in some configurations). The machine handles various liquid viscosities and supports fill volumes from 2ml to 250ml in a single setup. This makes it perfect for small-batch and flexible production where high-speed multi-head machines are not required.
The Single Head Vial Filler delivers excellent filling accuracy of ±1% (depending on liquid characteristics and vial size).
Working Principle: Sterilized vials are fed automatically via an in-feed turntable or unscrambler onto a stainless steel slat conveyor. Vials are positioned under the single filling head, where precise dosing occurs using a piston or peristaltic pump system. Diving nozzles minimize foaming and splashing. Filled vials then move to the integrated rubber stoppering station, where stoppers are inserted using a vibratory bowl and spring-loaded rollers. A “No Vial – No Filling” system prevents product wastage. The entire process is controlled with variable AC frequency drive for smooth speed adjustment.
Key features include:
The machine has a power load of 1 HP and approximate dimensions of 1700mm (L) x 900mm (W) x 1700mm (H), with a net weight of 300 kg.
The main advantages include:
It offers a cost-effective and reliable solution for laboratories and manufacturers needing precision without high-speed requirements.
