Automatic and Rotary models typically handle 1 ml to 10 ml or 1 ml to 20 ml ampoules (diameters 9 mm to 21.5 mm, heights 60 mm to 140 mm). Multijet models accommodate 1 ml to 20 ml ampoules and 2 ml to 100 ml vials with interchangeable change parts.

Ampoules are fed via an infeed tray/feed worm to a starwheel. Grippers hold them by the neck, invert them (neck-down) over washing needles, and move them through multiple stations (typically 6 internal zones with water and air washes). After cleaning (including external wash), ampoules are re-inverted to neck-up position and discharged via an output starwheel. Independent circuits prevent cross-contamination, and sequences are customizable.

Contact parts are made of AISI 316L stainless steel, while non-contact parts use AISI 304 stainless steel or engineering plastics. Machines are complete cGMP models. Optional features include PLC/HMI controls, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software validation, and IQ/OQ/DQ documentation.

A common sequence includes: 1st – Recycled Water (WFI), 2nd – Compressed Air, 3rd – DM Water, 4th – Compressed Air, 5th – Water for Injection (WFI), 6th – Compressed Air. External washing is also provided. Cycles can be adjusted as per customer requirements, with Multijet models using similar sequential water and air washes.

Automatic Rotary models are high-speed, fully automatic systems ideal for continuous production (up to 200 ampoules/min) with gripper-based inversion and continuous feeding. Multijet models are semi-automatic, compact, and tray-based (manual loading/unloading), suitable for small to medium-scale production, handling both ampoules and vials with pressurized multi-jet cleaning.

Utilities typically include compressed air (around 20 CFM) and water (200–500 liters/hour depending on size). Optional features include separate pumping stations (3 pumps + 3 × 25 L tanks), recirculation/siliconization systems, PLC with HMI and password protection, safety cabinets, and printing facilities.
