In the highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, ensuring the safety, efficacy, and integrity of injectable medications is paramount. The Dry Powder Vial Inspection Machine stands as a specialized piece of pharmaceutical equipment designed specifically for the visual inspection of injectable dry powder-filled vials. This advanced vial inspection system plays a critical role in modern production lines by identifying a wide range of defects that could compromise product quality or patient safety.
The primary function of a Dry Powder Vial Inspection Machine is comprehensive quality control. It meticulously detects issues such as vial breakage, cracks in the glass, improper cap sealing, foreign particles embedded in the powder, inconsistent fill levels, cosmetic imperfections, and other visual anomalies that occur after the filling and sealing processes. By catching these defects early, manufacturers can maintain stringent GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and minimize the risk of costly recalls or regulatory non-compliance.
The central conveyor belt brings the bottle from the capping machine conveyor. These bottles are automatically bifurcated on the two adjoining conveyor belts & further on the side tables for operators sitting on either side of the table. The operators in turn pick up the bottles & visually inspect the bottles in the alternate white & black background to check for any particles in the liquid filled, sealed & breakage of bottle. After inspection the bottles are placed in the central track, which is transfer for labeling.

It is a specialized pharmaceutical machine designed for visual inspection of injectable dry powder-filled vials. It detects defects such as vial breakage, cracks, improper cap sealing, foreign particles in the powder, inconsistent fill levels, and cosmetic imperfections to ensure product quality, safety, and GMP compliance.
The machine identifies vial breakage, glass cracks, improper or faulty cap sealing, foreign particles embedded in the powder, inconsistent or incorrect fill levels, and various cosmetic or visual anomalies after filling and sealing.
It is suitable for vials from 5 ml to 30 ml (and up to 100 ml in some models) without requiring change parts in many cases. Compatible vial diameters range from 23 mm to 38 mm and heights from 25 mm to 70 mm.
Vials arrive via a central conveyor from the capping machine and are automatically bifurcated onto adjoining conveyors/side tables. Operators visually inspect them against alternating white and black backgrounds for particles, sealing integrity, and breakage. Inspected vials are returned to the central track for transfer to labeling; rejected ones can be ejected pneumatically.
Model ADVIM 120 offers up to 120 vials per minute, while ADVIM 240 reaches up to 240 vials per minute. Overall output typically ranges from 100–250 vials per minute depending on the model and operator efficiency.
It is a complete cGMP model with maintenance-free long-lasting rollers, an easy detachable roller system, user-friendly operation, variable AC frequency drive for speed control, auto-stop on vial stuck-up or hindrance, visual inspection capability, and pneumatic ejection of rejected vials by button press.
Typically four operators (2×2 configuration) are used. Inspection is supported by black/white backgrounds, with additional aids such as magnifying lenses, LED lighting, and optional auto-rejection systems available.
Yes, it is a complete cGMP model built to current Good Manufacturing Practice standards, featuring stainless steel construction for hygiene, durability, and easy cleaning.
Yes. It is designed for inline integration with filling, stoppering, and capping machines, and uses infeed/outfeed turntables for smooth product flow. It includes a variable-speed multi-track (often 4-track) nylon roller conveyor system.
It is applied in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, herbal, Ayurvedic, biotech, cosmetic, and chemical industries wherever high-quality visual inspection of dry powder vials is required.
