Description

Multijet Ampoule Washing Machine is a semi-automatic, compact, and versatile piece of pharmaceutical equipment designed to clean glass ampoules and vials, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards. It is widely used in small to medium-scale injectable manufacturing facilities for washing ampoules (1ml to 20ml) and glass vials (2ml to 100ml) with the help of interchangeable parts to accommodate different sizes.

  • Ampoules or vials are loaded onto a combi tray, either manually or via dump loading from pre-arranged boxes.

 

  • The tray is inserted into the machine, and the handlebar is lowered to align washing needles with container openings.

 

  • The acrylic cover is closed, and the washing cycle is initiated via a switch or HMI panel.

 

  • Sequential washing (internal and external) occurs using pressurized jets, followed by a buzzer and red-light indication upon cycle completion.

 

  • The tray is removed by reversing the loading procedure.

Working Principle of Multijet Ampoule Washing Machine

Ampoules are loaded in bulk onto combi tray if received in ready to dump boxes, which will have exactly same number of Ampoules and the pitch, as loading tray. Alternatively, each Ampoule/Vial has to be arranged into the tray individually. The loading tray is placed directly into the machine & the handlebar is lowered for automatic centering of washing needles into the Ampoules neck. The top cover is lowered & switch is operated for automatic sequential washing. Washing is performed from inside and outside of each individual Ampoule. Machine automatically stops after one complete washing cycle with buzzer sound and red-light indication. For removal of tray, reverse procedure is to be observed. Depending on loading & operator’s efficiency one can achieve 30 loading trays in an hour.

The tray is placed in the machine, and a handlebar ensures automatic centering of washing needles into the container mouths.

 

  • Safety and Visibility: Equipped with an acrylic top cover for clear observation of the washing process. The machine automatically stops if the cover is lifted during operation and resumes from the same point when closed, enhancing operator safety.

 

  • Efficiency: Capable of processing up to 30 trays per hour, depending on operator efficiency and loading speed, with a production capacity of 3,000 to 12,960 ampoules/vials per hour, depending on the model.

Containers are arranged in combi trays and placed in the machine. A handlebar lowers to center the washing needles automatically. The acrylic top cover is closed, and the cycle starts via the PLC HMI panel. It performs six sequential washing stages:
