The machine is fabricated from Mild Steel, SS 304, or SS 316. Exterior options include a matte texture or high-shine mirror polish. Mild steel versions receive a base coat of anti-corrosive red oxide plus dual-layer epoxy coating. PTFE shaft seals ensure sanitary, food-grade compatibility.
It uses two counter-rotating ‘Z’-profile (sigma) agitators that move at differential speeds (typically 3:2 ratio in tangential designs). This creates intense shearing, stretching, folding, splitting, and recombining action, efficiently transferring material and breaking down solids while minimizing dead zones.
Working capacities range from approximately 50 liters (ASM-50) to 3000 liters (ASM-3000), with corresponding gross capacities and motor ratings (general and heavy-duty variants from 5 HP up to 120 HP). Power voltage can be customized to local requirements.
Discharge can be performed via vessel tilting (manual hand-wheel or automated hydraulic), bottom discharge valves, or an optional adjacent extrusion screw, allowing flexibility for different viscosities and production needs.
