Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine

Description

Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine is a fully automated, high-speed cleaning equipment primarily designed for washing round glass bottles (typically ranging from 30 ml to 1000 ml) in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, and packaging. It ensures thorough, contamination-free rinsing by inverting bottles neck-down and using high-pressure jets of water and air, minimizing human contact to meet cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Bottle Washing Machine is ideal for inline integration with filling lines, offering efficient throughput while maintaining hygiene and reducing labor costs.

  • Bottle Feeding: Empty bottles are loaded onto the conveyor and fed into indexed pockets or baskets.

  • Inversion and Washing: Bottles are gripped (often by neck) and inverted. Nozzles rise to enter the neck, delivering pressurized jets in sequenced cycles.

  • Draining and Resetting: After washing, bottles drain completely, then flip upright and discharge onto the outfeed conveyor or turntable.

Working Principle of Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine

Three-cycle rinsing allows flexibilities of various wash cycles such as fresh water, dematerialized water etc. as per the rinsing requirement of bottle. All the pumps are made of SS and all the water contact parts are made of SS 316 on a heavy base of SS structure. In tunnel design is such that separation is maintained between feeding zone and discharge zone of the cleaned containers. All the mechanical drives are separated and isolated from the washing zone. Approved materials only are used for construction, together with a careful choice of components, thereby taking into consideration all aspects of sanitation and consequence complying with the pharmaceutical G.M.P. requirements. The quality of rinsing is ensured through 3 sets of inner and 2 sets of outer nozzles accurately placed to direct the jet at center of the bottle and the bottle comes out with water totally drained with minimum droplets of water.

Key Features of Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine

  • Construction: Fabricated from stainless steel for durability, corrosion resistance, and easy cleaning. The rigid, modular frame supports continuous operation without breakdowns.

  • Loading and Unloading: Automatic loading via SS wire mesh conveyor from a feed table (manual push option available). Optional automatic unloading onto a turntable for seamless transfer.

  • Washing Stations: Equipped with 6 interchangeable stations (configurable for 3 water washes and 3 air washes, or custom sequences like fresh water, deionized water, or air jets). High-pressure spray nozzles target the bottle’s interior and exterior precisely, ensuring complete drainage with minimal residual droplets.

  • Nozzle System: Needles or nozzles enter the inverted bottle for positive-pressure washing, preventing cross-contamination. Supports up to 8 internal and 2 external stations in advanced models.

  • Pumps and Flexibility: Includes centrifugal pumps (SS 316) for high-volume washing; optional third tank/pump for additional cycles. Water recycling possible for eco-friendly operation.

  • Safety and Compliance: Features safety interlocks, isolated mechanical drives from washing zones, and GMP-compliant design. No change parts needed for round bottles (change parts for flat bottles or neck size variations).

FAQ for Automatic Linear Bottle Washing Machine

The machine is available in three models:

  • ALBW 100: Up to 100 bottles per minute
  • ALBW 150: Up to 150 bottles per minute
  • ALBW 250: Up to 200 bottles per minute It typically handles bottles from 30 ml to 1000 ml.

  • High-pressure spray nozzles for perfect internal & external washing
  • 3 Inner + 1 Outer + 1 Air wash cycles (configurable)
  • SS 316 contact parts and full stainless steel construction
  • No change parts required for round bottles (quick changeover)
  • Automatic loading via SS wire mesh conveyor
  • Optional third tank/pump and water recycling
  • Rigid design for continuous long-hour operation
  • Isolated mechanical drives from washing zone for safety and hygiene

Bottles are inverted (neck down) with nozzles entering the bottle for positive pressurized washing. All contact parts are SS 316, mechanical drives are isolated from the washing zone, and the tunnel design maintains separation between dirty and clean zones. It supports deionized water, recycling, and complete drainage to minimize residual droplets.

  • Excellent for high-speed inline filling lines
  • Minimal change parts for round bottles → faster changeovers
  • Superior cleaning with pressurized jets and multiple cycles
  • Lower labor requirement due to full automation
  • Compact footprint with robust, low-maintenance design
  • Flexible customization (wash sequences, extra tanks, recycling)
  • Cost-effective and reliable for medium to high production volumes
