

Eight Head Ampoule Filling Machine (Model AFS-8) is a high-speed, fully automatic pharmaceutical equipment designed for precise filling and sealing of glass ampoules at large-scale production levels. It is ideal for high-volume manufacturing of sterile liquid injectables, offering significantly higher output compared to four-head and six-head models. This advanced machine operates on the slant travel principle, where ampoules move at an angle through various stations. This design effectively handles variations in ampoule neck dimensions and glass thicknesses, ensuring gentle handling, accurate filling, and uniform sealing while maintaining strict sterility and full cGMP compliance.
Empty washed & sterilized ampoules loaded onto infeed hopper of the machine. From where it has been received to receiving rack through starwheel/cassette. The moving rack which moves horizontally collect eight ampoules from the receiving rack and transfer the ampoule to the machine in left to right in an inclined position. During ampoule movement Pre-gassing, Filling, Post Gassing, Pre-heating & Sealing Station perform Filling and Sealing Operations. At the end duly filled and sealed ampoules get collected automatically onto collection tray of the machine.

This machine supports ampoule sizes from 1 ml to 20 ml (with some configurations handling 0.5 ml to 25 ml). It features minimum change-over parts and quick format change, allowing easy switching between sizes with very little downtime. The slant travel mechanism ensures gentle and precise handling across different neck dimensions and glass thicknesses.
The Eight Head Ampoule Filling Machine offers a filling accuracy of ±1%. Sterility is maintained through pre- and post-nitrogen gas flushing (with neck centering), a “No Ampoule – No Filling” system, a pre-warming station before sealing, and full cGMP-compliant design. All product contact parts are made of Stainless Steel 316L, and the machine can be equipped with optional Class 100 laminar airflow for enhanced sterile operation.
All product contact parts are manufactured from high-quality Stainless Steel 316L, while non-contact parts and the sturdy frame use Stainless Steel 304 with a matte finish and anti-rust treatment. This material selection ensures excellent corrosion resistance, easy cleaning, long-term durability, and complete compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
