The Octagonal Blender is an efficient and versatile blending machine for mixing and lubrication process of dry granules homogeneously. Two third of the volume of the Cone Blender is filled to ensure proper mixing. The Octagonal Blender Machine gives best result for granules due to very slow speed and octagonal shape of container. It is uses in application of Pharmaceutical, Food, Chemical and Cosmetic products.
In Octagonal Blender the granules come from all sides due to the octagonal shape of the product container, hence requirement of blender RPM is less. Octagonal blender design suitable mainly for Crystalline & Granular type material. This type of material gets sufficient continuous movement due to their shape if container have only slow movement and will results in good quality of blending / lubrication of granules.

It is ideal for homogeneous blending of dry powders, granules, and crystalline materials in the Pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, Herbal, Nutraceutical, Biotech, Cosmetic, Food, and Chemical industries. Its octagonal shape ensures gentle mixing with minimal shear and heat generation, making it perfect for sensitive or fragile products.
The blender operates on the principle of slow-speed tumbling. The octagonal-shaped container rotates on a horizontal axis, causing materials to cascade continuously from all eight sides due to gravity. This geometry provides excellent mixing efficiency at low RPM. The vessel is typically filled to about two-thirds (65–70%) of its gross volume for optimal results. Removable baffles can be added for enhanced uniformity.
