The Octagonal Blender is an efficient and versatile blending machine for mixing and lubrication process of dry granules homogeneously. Two third of the volume of the Cone Blender is filled to ensure proper mixing. The Octagonal Blender Machine gives best result for granules due to very slow speed and octagonal shape of container. It is uses in application of Pharmaceutical, Food, Chemical and Cosmetic products.
In Octagonal Blender the granules come from all sides due to the octagonal shape of the product container, hence requirement of blender RPM is less. Octagonal blender design suitable mainly for Crystalline & Granular type material. This type of material gets sufficient continuous movement due to their shape if container have only slow movement and will results in good quality of blending / lubrication of granules.

It is widely used in the chemical industry for mixing pesticides, plastics, ceramics, agrochemicals, dyes, and other crystalline or granular substances. Its octagonal shape ensures gentle yet effective mixing with minimal heat generation and particle attrition.
The blender rotates slowly on its horizontal axis. The unique eight-sided (octagonal) container causes materials to tumble and cascade from all sides due to gravity and internal baffles. This gentle action provides excellent homogeneity in 5–20 minutes while using lower RPM and power compared to other blenders like V-blenders or Ribbon blenders. It is ideal for sensitive chemical formulations that require low shear.
For optimal mixing performance, fill the blender to 60–70% of its gross volume (about two-thirds). Models range from 300 liters to 4000+ liters gross capacity, supporting batch sizes from a few hundred kilograms up to several tons.
