An Automatic Capsule Filling Line represents the pinnacle of modern pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, engineered for high-speed, accurate dosing of empty hard gelatin or vegetarian capsules with powders, granules, pellets, tablets, liquids, or multi-component formulations. Widely adopted across pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and dietary supplement industries, this system enables large-scale production of medications, vitamins, herbal products, and specialized supplements while maintaining strict quality control.
At its core is an advanced automatic capsule filling machine (also known as a capsule filler or encapsulator). A complete Automatic Capsule Filling Line integrates upstream and downstream equipment—including capsule orienting and feeding systems, polishing units, filling stations, sealing mechanisms, precision counting devices, bottling equipment, labeling machines, and final packaging solutions. This seamless integration creates a continuous, closed-loop process that minimizes human intervention, reduces contamination risks, and maximizes throughput.
Designed with GMP compliance, hygienic stainless-steel construction, and precise dosing accuracy in mind, these lines deliver consistent fill weights, high recovery rates, and reliable performance under continuous operation. Manufacturers benefit from improved productivity, reduced labor costs, and enhanced product integrity—key factors that support regulatory adherence and market competitiveness. By combining proven engineering expertise with industry-proven reliability, an Automatic Capsule Filling Line stands as a trusted solution for companies seeking scalable, efficient, and high-quality capsule production.
An Automatic Capsule Filling Line is a fully integrated pharmaceutical production system designed for high-speed, precise filling of hard gelatin or vegetarian capsules with powders, granules, pellets, tablets, liquids, or combinations. It combines an automatic capsule filling machine with upstream and downstream equipment for feeding, polishing, sealing, counting, bottling, labeling, and packaging, ensuring continuous, hygienic, and efficient mass production of medications, vitamins, and supplements with minimal human intervention.
Automatic capsule fillers, including fully automatic ones, have the capacity to fill up to 150,000 capsules per hour using a range of powder formulations. This machine model can precisely fill the full spectrum of hard gelatin capsule sizes 00 to 5 with powder, pellets, and granules either individually or in any mix of powder and pallets. For improved accuracy, the Automatic Capsule Filler forms a slug using tamping pin technology and inserts it into a hard gelatin capsule.

Comprising a revolving, variable-speed spiral nylon brush stainless steel powder collector and stainless steel chambers equipped with filter cloth. The capsules move from one end to the other. They are forced to roll between the filter cloth and the nylon bristles throughout this journey. The dust extractor in this course removes and sucks the powder from the capsules and their edges. The capsules that emerge from the chute are immaculately clean, shining, and polished.

The machine has a conveyor belt. A lighting source is located above this machine so that the capsule can be thoroughly examined. As the capsules exit the vibrator and travel along the conveyor belt, angular guides cause them to rotate around their axis. An operator can sort out defective capsules by doing this comprehensive visual assessment.

In addition to cleaning semi-automatic or automatic capsule filling machines, the dust collector is utilised to gather stray powder from the polishing chamber.

Diametrically rejected capsule sorters operate on the basis of the capsule’s geometry, specifically its ovality and gravity load. The filled capsules are polished and then dropped into a revolving drum with sorter plates to separate the precisely diametrical capsules.
It is specifically used to separate filled capsules that are diametrically faulty.

The empty capsule ejector operates on the airflow force principle. When airflow force is provided to the capsules, filled capsules will fall directly towards the down level and empty capsules will eject out the side; this is specifically done to separate filled and empty capsules.
Additionally, we provide a capsule counting machine for counting and filling capsules in rigid containers and poly bags, as well as a capsule blistering machine for efficiently packing tablets and capsules in a blister pack. These devices are widely used in the pharmaceutical sector and are made of top-drawer materials.
Key Functions:

An Automatic Capsule Filling Line is a fully integrated pharmaceutical production system designed for high-speed, precise filling of hard gelatin or vegetarian capsules with powders, granules, pellets, tablets, liquids, or multi-component formulations. It combines an automatic capsule filling machine with upstream and downstream equipment for continuous, hygienic mass production of medications, vitamins, and supplements with minimal human intervention.
It is widely used in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, dietary supplement, herbal, Ayurvedic, biotech, cosmetic, and chemical industries for large-scale production of capsules while maintaining strict quality control and regulatory compliance.
Key machines typically include the Automatic Capsule Filling Machine, Capsule Polishing Machine, Capsule Inspection Machine, Dust Collector, Diametrically Rejected Capsule Sorter, Empty Capsule Ejector, and Automatic Blister Packing Machine (along with related counting, bottling, and labeling equipment).
Fully automatic capsule fillers can fill up to 150,000 capsules per hour. They handle hard gelatin capsule sizes from 00 to 5 and can dose powders, pellets, granules, or combinations using tamping pin technology for precise slug formation and insertion.
It separates empty capsules into body and cap, precisely doses the fill material (powder, granules, pellets, or liquids), rejoins the capsules with accurate alignment, ejects the completed capsules at high speed, and ensures consistent fill weight and quality during continuous operation with minimal operator intervention.
The Capsule Polishing Machine uses a revolving variable-speed spiral nylon brush, stainless-steel powder collector, and filtered chambers to remove residual powder from capsule surfaces, polish them to a smooth glossy finish, reduce dust contamination, and prepare capsules for inspection and packaging without damaging the shells.
Capsules travel along a conveyor belt under lighting, where angular guides rotate them for thorough visual examination. The machine detects defects such as cracks, dents, improper seals, or inconsistent fill levels and allows operators (or automated systems) to reject faulty capsules so only quality products proceed.
The Dust Collector captures airborne powder during filling and polishing operations. It maintains a clean, hygienic environment, prevents cross-contamination, protects operator health and machine longevity, filters fine particles efficiently, and supports GMP compliance.
The Empty Capsule Ejector uses airflow to separate and remove unfilled capsules so only filled ones continue. The Diametrically Rejected Capsule Sorter measures capsule diameter and geometry (ovality and size) in a revolving drum to identify and separate oversized, undersized, or out-of-tolerance capsules, ensuring uniform size and quality for downstream packaging.
It forms plastic cavities, precisely loads capsules into blister pockets, seals them with aluminum foil, cuts and perforates the packs, and produces tamper-evident protective packaging at high speed with accurate counting. The line can also integrate counting machines for bottling or poly-bag filling as needed.
