An Automatic Capsule Filling Line is a highly automated pharmaceutical production system designed for high-speed, precise filling of empty hard gelatin or vegetarian capsules with powders, granules, pellets, tablets, liquids, or combinations thereof. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and supplement industries for mass production of capsules (e.g., medications, vitamins, or herbal supplements).
While a single “automatic capsule filling machine” (also called a capsule filler or encapsulator) forms the core, a full “line” often integrates upstream and downstream equipment for a complete process: from capsule feeding and polishing to filling, sealing, counting, bottling, labeling, and packaging. This ensures continuous, hygienic, and efficient production with minimal human intervention.
Automatic Capsule Filling Machine
Automatic capsule fillers, including fully automatic ones, have the capacity to fill up to 150,000 capsules per hour using a range of powder formulations. This machine model can precisely fill the full spectrum of hard gelatin capsule sizes 00 to 5 with powder, pellets, and granules either individually or in any mix of powder and pallets. For improved accuracy, the Automatic Capsule Filler forms a slug using tamping pin technology and inserts it into a hard gelatin capsule.
Capsule Polishing Machine
comprising a revolving, variable-speed spiral nylon brush stainless steel powder collector and stainless steel chambers equipped with filter cloth. The capsules move from one end to the other. They are forced to roll between the filter cloth and the nylon bristles throughout this journey. The dust extractor in this course removes and sucks the powder from the capsules and their edges. The capsules that emerge from the chute are immaculately clean, shining, and polished.
Capsule Inspection Machine
The machine has a conveyor belt. A lighting source is located above this machine so that the capsule can be thoroughly examined. As the capsules exit the vibrator and travel along the conveyor belt, angular guides cause them to rotate around their axis. An operator can sort out defective capsules by doing this comprehensive visual assessment.
Dust Collector
In addition to cleaning semi-automatic or automatic capsule filling machines, the dust collector is utilised to gather stray powder from the polishing chamber.
Diametrically Rejected Capsule Sorter
Diametrically rejected capsule sorters operate on the basis of the capsule’s geometry, specifically its ovality and gravity load. The filled capsules are polished and then dropped into a revolving drum with sorter plates to separate the precisely diametrical capsules.
It is specifically used to separate filled capsules that are diametrically faulty.
Empty Capsule Ejector
The empty capsule ejector operates on the airflow force principle. When airflow force is provided to the capsules, filled capsules will fall directly towards the down level and empty capsules will eject out the side; this is specifically done to separate filled and empty capsules.
Automatic Blister Packing Machine
Additionally, we provide a capsule counting machine for counting and filling capsules in rigid containers and poly bags, as well as a capsule blistering machine for efficiently packing tablets and capsules in a blister pack. These devices are widely used in the pharmaceutical sector and are made of top-drawer materials.
