Tablet Coating Machine is specialized pharmaceutical equipment used to apply a thin, uniform polymer-based or sugar-based coating onto compressed tablets. The coating serves multiple purposes: protecting the active ingredient, masking taste/odor, controlling drug release (e.g., enteric or sustained release), improving appearance, and enhancing swallowability. In order to prevent heartburn, coating machines have an interlocking electrical circuit that only activates the heaters when the blower is turned “on.” To prevent the accumulation of dirt or contaminated medication, the coating SS Pan Mouth ring is soldered at its rim cavities. Standard equipment includes an induction motor, a helical gearbox, and all electrical controls from reputable manufacturers. On-demand thermostat control is available. Working Principle of Tablet Coating Machine

The coating round pot in the machine is rotated on variable speeds and the coating material is sprayed by the spraying system provided in the machine. The spraying process is always in line with the technological requirements and protocols in place. The coating round pot rotates and the hot air blower system of the machine supplies hot air at the same time. As a result the surface of medicines gets dried with an even coating.   • Loading: Tablets loaded into pan (50–80% fill volume)

 

  • Pre-heating: Pan rotates; hot air warms tablets (35–45°C)

 

  • Spraying: Coating solution sprayed in pulses

 

  • Drying: Hot air (50–80°C) evaporates solvent

 

  • Curing(optional): Extended drying at lower temp
