Working Principle of Powder Filling Capping Machine

Duly cleaned containers are placed to the filling machine platform. From there containers transport towards the filling station with the help of conveyor belt. As soon as the bottle is sensed by bottle sensor, magnetic clutch starts to rotate which is mounted on the auger shaft. It fills the desired volume of powder to the container through Auger. After completion of filling process bottle transfers on conveyor for next capping operations.

  • Product Loading: Powder is loaded into a hopper above the machine.

 

  • Auger Measurement: A servo-driven or variable-speed motor rotates the auger, drawing a set volume of powder into its flights.

 

  • Dispensing: The auger deposits the measured powder into the container positioned below a funnel or spout.

 

  • Cycle Control: Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) with touchscreens allow adjustments for fill volume, speed, and integration with other equipment like vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) baggers or conveyors.

 

  • Cleanup and Maintenance: Many models feature quick-release tooling for easy cleaning to meet sanitary standards.
