Pharmaceutical Powder Filling Machine are specialized equipment designed for the precise, automated dosing and filling of dry powders into containers like vials, bottles, capsules, or syringes. These machines are essential in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure sterility, minimize contamination, achieve high accuracy, and comply with regulations like GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). They handle a range of powder types, from free-flowing granules to cohesive fine powders, and are used in aseptic processing for injectables, nutraceuticals, and oral formulations. Key benefits include reduced waste, faster production rates, and features like enclosed pathways to prevent dust exposure and cross-contamination. Common applications include filling lyophilized (freeze-dried) drugs, dry syrups, and high-potency APIs.

Duly cleaned containers are placed to the filling machine platform. From there containers transport towards the filling station with the help of conveyor belt. As soon as the bottle is sensed by bottle sensor, magnetic clutch starts to rotate which is mounted on the auger shaft. It fills the desired volume of powder to the container through Auger. After completion of filling process bottle transfers on conveyor for next capping operations.
Most pharmaceutical powder filling machines use auger dosing technology, where a rotating auger screw draws powder from a hopper and dispenses a measured volume into the container. Advanced models incorporate:
The process typically involves: powder loading into a hopper → agitation/fluidization → auger dosing → filling into containers → optional stoppering/capping → ejection.

A Pharmaceutical Powder Filling Machine is specialized equipment used for the precise, automated dosing and filling of dry powders into containers such as vials, bottles, or jars. It primarily uses auger dosing technology, where a rotating helical screw (auger) draws powder from a hopper and dispenses a measured volume into each container. The process involves a conveyor transporting containers to the filling station, a sensor triggering the auger via a magnetic clutch, and controls ensuring consistent fills. Advanced models include servo motors, PLC/HMI systems, and optional laminar airflow for sterile (Class 100) operations.
The machine offers a filling accuracy of ±2–3% (depending on powder characteristics, bulk density, and environmental conditions). Production output varies by model:
Fill volumes typically range from 5g to 60g per dose. Servo-driven options and check-weighing systems can further improve precision.
It is suitable for both free-flowing and non-free-flowing powders, including fine cohesive powders, granules, and challenging materials used in injectables, dry syrups, antibiotics, and lyophilized drugs. Contact parts are SS316 with easy-clean design. The machine handles custom container sizes (vials, bottles, etc.) with quick changeover tooling. It is ideal for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, biotech, and related industries requiring GMP compliance.
Key features include:
The machine is designed for cGMP compliance, with hygienic, easy-maintenance construction to minimize contamination and support sterile aseptic processing.
Maintenance is straightforward thanks to tool-less disassembly, quick-release tooling, and easy-clean contact parts. Regular cleaning of the auger, hopper, and funnels is recommended, along with checking seals and sensors. Optional features like dust extraction and laminar flow help maintain sterility. The robust design supports low downtime, and we provide full technical support, spare parts, and validation documentation (IQ/OQ) for regulatory compliance.
