The Ampoule Sticker Labeling Machine, also widely known as an ampoule labeler or vial sticker labeler, is a highly specialized automated packaging equipment designed for accurate and efficient application of self-adhesive sticker labels on small, delicate cylindrical containers. This advanced machine is extensively used across the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, and electronics industries, where precision, hygiene, and high-speed operation are essential.
Built to handle fragile and unstable round-bottom objects such as glass ampoules, vials, eye drop bottles, syringes, test tubes, and similar containers, the ampoule sticker labeling machine ensures labels are applied perfectly without damaging the product. Its gentle handling mechanisms and advanced sensor technology prevent breakage while maintaining consistent label placement, even at high production speeds.
Ampoules are loaded onto infeed hopper of the machine from where it is delivered to the feedworm. Feed worm rotates ampoule and during its operation transfer the ampoules to the Starwheel. The Starhweel is having rollers of same diameter as of ampoule body diameter. Starwheel transfer ampoules to the labeling station where ampoule picks label one by one and further moves towards pressing unit. Pressing Unit equipped with rubber belt for proper placing the labels. During movement of ampoules from pressing belt ampoules get labeled.
Duly labeled ampoules get collected on Outfeed Collection Tray for further operation. In case of printing unit opted labels will be printed with printing device before applying onto ampoules. There are encoders installed which sense gap between two labels and accordingly provide signals to print data onto labels.

The core function is to perform wrap-around labeling on ampoules, which are typically 1-20 ml in capacity and prone to tipping over. Unlike standard vertical labelers, many models use a horizontal conveying system to maintain stability for non-standable items, avoiding conveyor belt jams or damage. Ampoules are fed via a hopper or screw mechanism, positioned accurately, labeled with sensors detecting gaps and absences, and then pressed for adhesion before collection. Optional integrations include inkjet printers for adding manufacturing dates, expiry dates, or barcodes directly on labels.
The Automatic Vial Sticker Labeling Machine (also known as an Ampoule Sticker Labeling Machine or Vial Labeler) is a high-precision, GMP-compliant automated system designed to apply self-adhesive sticker labels accurately and efficiently on small, delicate cylindrical containers like glass ampoules, vials, eye drop bottles, syringes, and test tubes. It is widely used in pharmaceutical and other industries for high-speed, hygienic labeling.
The machine comes in three models:
It supports ampoules with diameters of 10mm to 18mm and heights of 50mm to 105mm. Label sizes range from 20–50mm in length and 15–60mm in width, making it suitable for various similar cylindrical containers.
Ampoules are loaded into an infeed hopper and transferred via a feed worm to a starwheel. The starwheel positions them at the labeling station, where each picks up a self-adhesive label. A secondary pressing unit with a rubber belt ensures secure adhesion. Labeled products are collected on an outfeed tray. Optional printing devices can add variable data like batch numbers or dates.
Key features include a compact GMP model with stainless steel construction, “No Ampoule – No Label” system, inbuilt touch screen HMI and PLC controls, variable speed drive, imported sensors and gear motors, secondary pressing unit, and optional missing label sensor, vision systems, and printing devices.
Yes. Models support up to 600 ampoules per minute with servo motors, precise sensors, and synchronized operations, making it ideal for fast-paced injectable manufacturing lines while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.
It is primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry for injectables but also serves nutraceutical, biotech, herbal/Ayurvedic, cosmetic, and chemical industries for labeling similar cylindrical containers.
The machine adheres to GMP standards with high-quality stainless steel construction for easy cleaning. It includes safety features like the “No Ampoule – No Label” system, optional vision inspection for print/barcode verification, and supports regulatory compliance and traceability.
Yes. Customizations include hopper vs. conveyor feeding, printing devices (inkjet, etc.), vision systems, voltage adjustments, and integration with upstream/downstream equipment like turntables for complete packaging lines.
Advantages include high speed and efficiency with minimal downtime, precise labeling (accuracy within 1mm) to reduce errors, gentle handling to prevent breakage, reduced labor costs, user-friendly controls, and improved product traceability for regulatory adherence.
