Automatic Glass Vial Washing Machine is a specialized piece of pharmaceutical packaging equipment designed to thoroughly clean and decontaminate small glass containers (vials) used for injectable drugs, vaccines, or biotech products. Vial Washing Machine ensure compliance with strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and FDA standards by minimizing contamination risks through contactless or low-contact washing processes. They are essential in aseptic manufacturing to remove residues, particles, and microbes from vial interiors and exteriors, preparing them for sterile filling. Common models handle vial sizes from 2 ml to 100 ml, with outputs ranging from 100 to 200 vials per minute depending on the configuration.

Vials pushed from in feed tray and then move on wire woven conveyor belt, which align the vial in correct position, to enter in to the carrier pocket with help of oscillating guide rails. Oscillating arm deliver the vial inside pocket in mouth down position over spraying nozzles. Multijet sprayers fixed at the top cause the total external and internal surface to be washed. To avoid any possible cross contamination between two different waters, each washing station is provided with an independent circuit. Carrier pocket is moving with indexing motion. When the baskets have completed their motion the needles are lifted. They penetrate the vials, spraying jets of water or compressed air then return down. The baskets movement then advances by one station. Each station of vials passes through the washing cycles selected. The duly washed vials then delivered to the out feed tray with neck opening upward and then automatically re ordered to sterilizing tunnel with back pressure.

An Automatic Glass Vial Washing Machine is a high-precision pharmaceutical equipment designed to thoroughly clean glass vials (internally and externally) before they are sterilized and filled with injectable drugs or vaccines. It uses multiple high-pressure washing cycles with Recycled Water, Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), and Compressed Air to remove particles, residues, and contaminants, ensuring full compliance with cGMP and FDA standards.
The machine can process glass vials ranging from 2ml to 100ml. It features a special pocket system that allows easy and trouble-free washing of different vial sizes without requiring change parts in the standard model. While primarily designed for glass vials, it can also handle plastic vials.
We offer two primary models:
The actual output depends on the vial size and selected model.
Key Features include:
Typical Washing Cycles:
It ensures consistent, high-quality cleaning that significantly reduces particulate contamination and microbial load. This leads to better sterility assurance, lower rejection rates, regulatory compliance (cGMP, FDA, EU-GMP), and improved patient safety. The machine is robust, user-friendly, and offers low water & air consumption with excellent reliability for continuous operation.
