The Bottle Washing Machine is a fully automated, high-efficiency system engineered for cleaning new or recycled bottles prior to filling. Available in rotary (high-speed) or linear (compact) configurations, it accommodates bottle sizes from 50 ml to 5 liters and materials including glass, PET, and plastic.

Types of Bottle Washing Machines

  1. Linear (Tunnel) Bottle Washers
    • Bottles move in a straight line through different zones

    • Common in smaller or medium-sized plants

    • Easier maintenance, lower cost

  2. Rotary Bottle Washers
    • Bottles are loaded onto rotating carousels

    • Very high speed

    • Used in large beverage plants (Coca-Cola, Pepsi, major breweries)

Typical Washing Stages

  1. Pre-rinse (remove loose dirt)

  2. Caustic soak or spray (main cleaning + label removal)

  3. Internal & external high-pressure spraying

  4. Fresh water rinses (multiple stages)

  5. Final rinse with clean or de-ionized water

  6. Air blowing / drying (optional)

Process Operation of Automatic Bottle Washer

The bottles are loaded on the subsequent indexing part of rotating platform and are cleared in series of operations. Specially designed bottle holders are provided to hold bottles with neck diameter. The bottles are placed in an inverted position in these cup shaped holders. Spraying showers does the external cleaning of the bottles. Solenoid valves are provided to enable the regulation of wash timings, it also spraying water when bottle are stopped means ensure saving of water and sequence of various washing media to suit specific requirement.
