Advantages of Chemical Multi Mill

Versatile for multiple operations with controlled particle size distribution and high throughput.

Compact, portable, easy to clean/operate, low maintenance, and suitable for heat-sensitive materials with minimal heat generation.

Capacities range from lab-scale (0.5 kg) to industrial.

Compact, efficient for heat/moisture-sensitive materials, and provides narrow particle distribution for consistent quality.

Key Features of Chemical Multi Mill

  • Mechanism: It employs rotating beaters with knife or impact edges, combined with variable force swings and interchangeable screens (meshes) to control output particle size. Material enters the chamber, gets fragmented by the beaters, and passes through the screen for discharge, avoiding choking or heat buildup.

  • Construction: Typically made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and GMP/cGMP compliance, with portable designs on castor wheels for easy mobility and cleaning.

  • Applications in Chemicals: Beyond pharmaceuticals, it’s applied in cosmetics, ceramics, colors/dyestuffs, food/spices, detergents, insecticides, and heavy chemicals for wet/dry granulation and homogenization. Output depends on beater shape, speed, and screen size.

FAQ for Chemical Multi Mill

Material is fed through the hopper into the milling chamber where high-speed rotating beaters (with knife and impact edges) and scraper blades subject it to impact, shearing, and cutting forces. The particles then pass through interchangeable perforated screens (0.5 mm to 12 mm). Oversized particles are recirculated until the desired size is achieved. The rotor direction is reversible for optimized performance on different materials.c

It offers high throughput with excellent process uniformity, versatility for wet and dry materials, minimal heat generation (suitable for heat-sensitive chemicals), easy cleaning and quick product changeover, compact portable design on castor wheels, and robust corrosion-resistant construction. This results in consistent particle size, reduced fines, and improved efficiency in chemical processing.

We offer models suitable for various production scales:

  • MM-100: Up to 100 kg/hour (1 HP)
  • MM-200: Up to 200 kg/hour (3 HP)
  • MM-500: Up to 500 kg/hour (5 HP) Variable rotor speeds (750–3000 RPM), multiple screen sizes, and customizable options are available to meet different chemical processing requirements.

Our Chemical Multi Mills feature SS304/SS316 contact parts for corrosion resistance, sturdy construction for continuous operation, easy disassembly for cleaning, reversible beaters, and reliable performance. With portable design, high output, low maintenance, customization options, and strong after-sales support, they deliver long-term reliability and efficiency for demanding chemical industry applications.
