The Lab Scale Multi Mill is a compact, highly versatile milling machine engineered specifically for laboratory research, pilot-scale trials, and small-batch production. This multi-purpose laboratory mill delivers exceptional performance in particle size reduction, granulation, mixing, shredding, and pulverizing of both wet and dry materials. It has become an essential tool across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, food processing, nutraceuticals, and herbal manufacturing.
In pharmaceutical R&D and formulation development, precise control over Particle Size Distribution (PSD) is crucial for product efficacy, bioavailability, flowability, and stability. The lab scale multi mill allows scientists and formulation experts to test and optimize materials efficiently before scaling up to commercial production. Its ability to produce consistent and repeatable results makes it ideal for pilot plant operations and process validation.

The Lab Scale Multi Mill is a compact, versatile milling machine designed for laboratory research, pilot-scale trials, and small-batch production. It excels in particle size reduction, granulation, mixing, shredding, and pulverizing of both wet and dry materials. It is widely used in pharmaceutical R&D for optimizing Particle Size Distribution (PSD) before commercial scale-up.
It is suitable for the Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, Herbal/Ayurvedic, Biotech, Cosmetic, Chemical, and Food industries. It supports formulation development, process validation, and small-batch manufacturing where precise control over granule size and uniformity is essential.
The model (MM 75) offers an output of up to 75 kg/hour, depending on material properties, screen size, and rotor speed. It is ideal for R&D and pilot-scale operations rather than high-volume production.
The machine offers variable speeds: 750 / 1500 / 2300 / 3000 RPM (or similar selectable speeds via frequency drive in some configurations). This allows optimization for different materials and desired particle sizes.
Raw material is fed into the hopper. High-speed rotating blades/rotors impact the material against a perforated screen using shear, impact, and attrition forces. Particles of the desired size pass through the screen and are collected, while larger particles are further processed. Quick disassembly supports GMP cleaning.
A wide range of SS perforated screens is available with hole diameters from 0.5mm to 12mm. Custom screens can be selected to achieve specific granule sizes and uniform output.
Its compact size, portability, low material consumption, quick changeover, reversible rotation, and multiple speed/screen options allow precise experimentation and repeatable results. It bridges lab development and production-scale equipment effectively.
