R&D Vibro Sifter

Description

The R&D Vibro Sifter, also widely known as a laboratory vibro sifter, lab scale vibro sifter, or small vibrating sieve machine, is a compact and highly efficient screening solution designed specifically for research and development laboratories. This precision equipment uses advanced gyratory vibration technology to effectively separate, screen, sieve, and grade solid particles according to their size. It efficiently removes impurities, oversized particles, and unwanted materials from both solid-solid and solid-liquid mixtures.

Ideal for small-batch testing, pilot-scale production, and stringent quality control processes, the R&D Vibro Sifter plays a crucial role in ensuring consistent particle size distribution and product uniformity. Its compact footprint makes it perfect for laboratories and R&D facilities where space is limited but accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable.

Working Principle of R&D Vibro Sifter

This vibrating energy screen is unit consisting of circular pre-tensioned screen mounted on the frame along with vibrating motor. The vibrating motor imparts three plane vibrations to the screen due to revolving eccentric weights. Total assembly is mounted on suitable springs so that it becomes a independent body which vibrates without parting any vibrations to the foundations.

  • Feeding: Material is loaded into the hopper or directly onto the pre-tensioned circular screen.

  • Vibration: The motor generates high-frequency gyratory motion, causing particles to stratify—smaller ones pass through the mesh, while larger ones are ejected via an outlet.

  • Separation: Springs amplify vibrations without transmitting them to the base, ensuring stable operation. Impurities or oversized particles are automatically discharged.

  • Output: Graded material is collected below, with efficiency up to 98% for fine powders.

This process typically takes 3-5 minutes per batch, minimizing downtime.
