Unlike planetary mixers, it uses a spiral hook that rotates on its axis while the bowl turns in the opposite direction. This dual-motion technology delivers superior dough development, better gluten formation, and more consistent results even with large volumes.
It is offered in Stainless Steel 316, Stainless Steel 304, and Mild Steel. Stainless steel versions can be polished to a matt or mirror finish as per customer requirements. Mild steel models receive one coat of red oxide and two coats of epoxy paint for protection.
The spiral agitator rotates while the bowl spins in the opposite direction, closely mimicking hand-kneading. This produces thorough, even mixing without dead spots, promotes excellent gluten development, and minimizes friction-related heat buildup that could harm yeast activity or dough texture.
Discharge can be performed by manual hand-wheel operation, hydraulic (automatic) tilting, container tilting, bottom valves, or an extrusion screw system. These options allow efficient removal of ultra-viscous materials with minimal residue.
Yes. A jacket for heating or cooling applications can be fitted, complete with mineral wool insulation and cladding. Optional blade cooling arrangements are also available to protect heat-sensitive formulations such as certain pastes, adhesives, or doughs.
PTFE shaft sealing is provided for food-grade compatibility. The design maintains a minimum gap between the trough inner shell and blades to prevent product sticking. Food-contact parts (bowl, spiral hook, breaker bar, etc.) are built from food-grade stainless steel that is rust-proof, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean.
