Applications of Washing and Cleaning Machine

Advantages of Rotary Bottle Washer

Consistent and thorough cleaning due to indexed, timed treatment zones.

Lower water and chemical consumption compared to older linear/soaker washers.

Smaller footprint than equivalent-capacity linear machines.

Robust construction suitable for caustic and high-temperature operation.

Key Features of Rotary Bottle Washer

  • Rotary DesignRotary Bottle Washer consists of a continuously rotating turret or carousel with multiple bottle holders (pockets or grippers). Bottles are fed automatically into the machine and travel in a circular path through various treatment zones.

  • Cleaning Stages (typically sequential):
    • Pre-rinsing – Removal of loose dirt, labels, or residues with water jets.
    • Pre-soaking – Bottles are submerged or sprayed with warm water or dilute caustic solution.
    • Caustic soaking – Main cleaning phase using hot caustic soda (NaOH) solution (usually 1.5–3%, 70–85 °C) to remove organic residues, labels, and glue.
    • Internal & external high-pressure spraying – Powerful jets clean both inside and outside of the bottles while they rotate.
    • Fresh water rinsing – Multiple rinsing stages with gradually cleaner water (warm → cold) to remove all traces of caustic and debris.
    • Final rinse (optional) – Often with sterile or de-ionized water.
    • Dripping/Air blow-off – Excess water is removed before discharge.

FAQ for Rotary Bottle Washer

The machine is available in two main models:

  • ARBW-64: Up to 60 bottles per minute
  • ARBW-100: Up to 100 bottles per minute It handles bottles with diameters of 25–100 mm, neck diameters of 20–38 mm, and heights up to 280 mm (with change parts).

Key features include Geneva mechanism, four inner + one outer + one air wash, customizable wash sequences, stationary stainless steel nozzles (to prevent contamination and neck chipping), individual solenoid valves for water saving, easy loading/unloading, higher-capacity centrifugal pumps, portable tank/pump stands, and a separate control panel.

Bottles are loaded onto a rotating platform, inverted in specially designed holders, and processed through indexed stations. Spraying showers clean the interior and exterior while solenoid valves control timing and media flow. The inverted position and stationary nozzles ensure thorough cleaning with gravity-assisted drainage and minimal contamination risk.

It delivers consistent and thorough cleaning, offers lower water and chemical consumption, has a compact footprint, provides robust construction for continuous operation, ensures GMP compliance, and supports versatile applications across multiple industries with easy maintenance and reliable performance.
